Apesar disso, um ciclone de característica sub/tropical costuma ser extremamente imprevisível tanto em trajetória quanto intensidade, ainda mais em um continente com tão poucos dados de superfície para alimentação da modelagem. Diferentemente dos outros modelos optou por uma trajetória impressionantemente parecida com a do Catarina até um certo momento, tangenciando a costa do RS antes de desviar, mas ainda sem um clássico landfall.
