Isso é verdade 2002 foi lixo total, com excessão do episódio do início set/2002, que a bem da verdade, foi a última onda polar mais significativa em termos de neve para a serra SC/RS e mínima para SP (4,4º - Inmet). Eles sugeriram o mesmo em 1999 e não se confirmou. Pago pra ver. Agora é mais possível, afinal fechou 30 anos da fase quente e a atividade solar é decrescente. Mas se estivermos mesmo numa nova fase fria, pode ser esperada uma repetição do padrão dos anos 50, 60 e 70. Estiagens, invernos rigorosos e tempestades severas em maior frequência. Lembrando que mesmo sob uma fase negativa ocorrem El Niños, enchentes (1965 e 1967) e invernos pobres de frio, afinal não é um La Niña constante. Mas o primeiro quadrimestre deste ano fecha na média com um dos maiores valores da história recente (desde 1876) devendo ficar entre os cinco melhores quadrimestres deste período histórico.
