The National Hurricane Center is also issuing advisories on recently upgraded Hurricane Hanna, located over the western Gulf of Mexico near the southeast coast of Texas. 1. A tropical wave is producing an area of disorganized showers and thunderstorms a few hundred miles southwest of Cabo Verde Islands.
