coutinho Posted February 28, 2013 at 02:35 PM Share Posted February 28, 2013 at 02:35 PM E finalmente os institutos "acordam" para o frio que vem para a Costa Leste!!! Olha aí Renan: :good2: March kickoff pattern aloft More Snow in the Forecast What is the first thing to pop into your head when we mention, "March?" Spring? Spring Break? Spring training? Yes, spring officially arrives on March 20, but most residents of the Northeast, Midwest, and Rockies know March can be a frustrating month, featuring lagging cold, snow, and wind. March, by its very nature is changeable for most in the Lower 48 States. With that in mind, we're looking at a pretty stark pattern to kick off the month of March. The graphic at right is a schematic for the upper-level wind flow pattern forecast for the first weekend of March. Notice the sharp southward dip in the polar jet stream forecast to carve out over the eastern half of the nation. This deep dip in the jet stream, or trough, would lock in colder-than-average temperatures for parts of the Midwest, South and East. Conversely, the West will enjoy near or above-average warmth for the first weekend in March. This potential chilly launch to March in the East, South and Midwest is a stark contrast to March 2012, the warmest March on record in the Lower 48 States as a whole, dating to 1895. This all said, an outlook by Weather Services International expects the spring months, as a whole, to be warmer than average over much of the eastern two-thirds of the nation. Therefore, it's more likely this cold pattern will persist only for the first few days, or first week of March. Sds.

Filipe Posted February 28, 2013 at 11:34 PM Share Posted February 28, 2013 at 11:34 PM UMA BELA NEVASCA, EM GERAL QTO TEMPO LEVA PARA DERRETER TUDO?
