Da mesma forma que os ciclones tropicais podem parecer assustadores e poderosos, basta haver alguma coisa na atmosfera ou nos oceanos que os atrapalhe e eles perdem força rapidamente. Isso é mais intenso do que os ventos estimados do tornado de Tuscaloosa/Birmingham de 2011.
